Pakistan returns Sarabjit Singh\'s personal belongings

India\'s mission in Islamabad received 36 items belonging to Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh on Monday, who died in May after being brutally attacked by prisoners at Kot Lakhpat prison in Lahore.
Items returned included three Hindi holy books, a rosary, five sets of clothes, a mattress to sleep, a pitcher, a blanket and shoes.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Akbaruddin said on Twitter, \"India\'s mission in Islamabad received 36 items belonging to the late Sarabjit Singh.

Sarabjit has been shut down in Pakistan for more than 20 years.
He was charged with terrorism.
